Kakarnias, Theofanis

Biography

Theofanis Kakarnias is a PhD student at the Political and Social Sciences Department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. His thesis focuses on the Europeanisation process in EU candidate states in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe and the role of EU conditionality. Theofanis has extensive experience working in consulting and research in both public and private organisations such as the Greek Parliament, the European Parliament, APCO Worldwide and RTL media group.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens and an MSc in European Public Policy from University College London.
