FORNASIER, JULIANA

Juliana Fornasier is a PhD student in the Political and Social Sciences Department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), under the supervision of Dr. Juan Carlos Triviño-Salazar. Her research focuses on policy learning at the local level in the field of migration.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from UFRGS, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and a Master’s in Migration Studies from UPF. She is a member of the not-for-profit consultancy MigrationWork CIC and is involved in European projects in the field of migration as a freelancer. Previously, Juliana has worked for international organisations such as the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
