 The UPF Commission for Internationalization has the following composition:

President

The rector, or the vice-rector delegated by him or her, who chairs the committee.

Members

  • The vice-rector competent in International Relations.
  • The vice-rector to vice-rector competent in teaching matters, or person to whom he delegates.
  • The other positions with general scope functions and competences in the field of international relations.
  • A member of the Social Council, appointed by this body.
  • Eight professors from various fields of knowledge appointed by the rector, at the proposal of the director of the corresponding Department.
  • A representative of the Management team.
  • A student representative, appointed by the UPF Student Council.
  • A PTGAS representative appointed by the PTGAS representatives in the Senate.
  • A representative of UPF graduates with international experience.

Secretary

The head of the International Relations Service.

 

At the initiative of the president, the advisors or persons responsible for international relations of the affiliated centers and other entities integrated in the UPF Group may be invited to participate in the meetings and work of the Committee, with the right to see but not to vote.

Functions

The functions of the Commission for the Internationalization of the UPF will be the following:

  • Define a strategic plan, annual or multi-year, for the internationalization of the UPF.
  • Propose tools and resources for the internationalization of the UPF.
  • Analyze the UPF's internationalization policies
  • Propose UPF internationalization objectives.
  • Advise on any aspect related to international politics that is presented to the Commission.
  • Monitor the deployment and implementation of the actions included in the Strategic Internationalization Plan by the Academic Coordination Units and the Academic Management Units.
