One of the goals of UPF, faithful to the principle of quality teaching and teaching innovation, is to put the student at the centre of learning and to highlight all teaching innovation initiatives.
In this context, the Pompeu Fabra University Teaching Innovation Recognition and Support Programme has been created, an institutional commitment aimed at recognizing, supporting, promoting and disseminating the implementation of innovative practices in the field of teaching. Through this recognition and support, UPF seeks to stimulate creativity and pedagogical experimentation among its teaching staff and encourage the incorporation of new methods and technologies, thus contributing to enriching our students’ educational experience.

UPF Teaching Innovation Committee (CID-UPF)
We define, implement and evaluate teaching innovation at UPF
The UPF Teaching Innovation Committee (CID-UPF), made up of teachers and professionals with extensive experience, supports the University in implementing teaching innovation policies. It identifies areas for improvement, proposes changes that enhance progress in teaching innovation and evaluates the initiatives that are eligible for consideration by the Teaching Innovation Recognition and Support Program with standards of rigour, objectivity and transparency.
