Functions

The role of the Research Service is to:

• Support the planning and implementation of institutional research policies.
• Promote, advise and manage the research projects and programmes of the administrations and funding entities.
• Manage the UPF research programmes, and provide data on this area. 
• Support the Institutional Committee for the Ethical Review of Projects, as well as advise researchers on the ethical aspects of research projects.

The Research Service is structured as follows:

• Science Policy Support Unit
• Unit for Promotion and Advice on Participation in Research Projects (Pre-Award)
• Research and Transfer Grants Management Unit (Post-Award)
