Functions
The Equality and Diversity Unit is entrusted.
- To prepare and monitor the Equality Plan and coordinate its implementation.
- To advise the different academic and administrative bodies, services and units regarding gender equality policies.
- To propose and promote measures that ensure the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people.
- To provide support services to people affected by situations of gender violence, LGBTI-phobia and sexual harassment.
- To coordinate the development of university policies on inclusion and anti-discrimination in all University activities and functions, as well as the activities arising from the Inclusion Plan.
- To coordinate, manage and provide attention to students with special needs.
- To coordinate and manage the Psychological Counselling Service, as well as the Mediation Service with regard to students.
