Functions

The Cross-Disciplinary Projects and University Community Area, led by a deputy general manager, directs, coordinates and promotes activities associated with supporting the University community; social commitment, including equality and diversity; attracting resources and coordinating the Administrative Management Units. It directs and coordinates the University Community Assistance Service and the Administrative Management Units.

Curricula

Born in Barcelona in 1971, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1984) and a master’s degree in Personal Development and Leadership (2023).

She began her professional career at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 1998.

Since 2002, she has held several management positions at this university, related to administration and service personnel management, the planning and implementation of budgets, both operating and for research projects, process re-engineering for the continuous improvement and management of the communication channels of the academic units.

Between March 2011 and December 2018, she held the position of head of the Research Employment Advice and Support Unit (UASLR) at the UPC.

From January 2019 to the end of 2024, she held the position of head of services at the UPC’s Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB).

In addition to her work as deputy manager, she has a passion for the mountains, outdoor activities, and collaborates, when she can, with local associations leading mindfulness workshops.

She was appointed for the post by the rector on 7 January 2025.
