Functions
The role of the Valorization and Transfer Unit is to:

Identify, valorize and promote technologies and knowledge with innovative and market potential.

Stimulate participation by PDI in the transfer programmes of the different administrations and entities.

Identify and advise PDI on funding opportunities and guide them regarding the best strategy for participation in these programmes.

Protect research results.

Manage industrial and software property, licences and knowledge transfer contracts.

Advise on the creation of technology-based or knowledge-intensive companies, and manage UPF participation in them.

Maintain and update the different databases of the generated activity.
