Functions

The Computing units on the Ciutadella - Mercè Campus, the Communication Campus - Poblenou and the Mar Campus are front office units. They are responsible for:

  • Providing help and support for the computing needs and problems of users.
  • Installing, administering and operating the information and communication technologies infrastructure for users.
  • Advising on the purchases and technologies to be used by users, according to the criteria established by the Resources Management Unit.
  • Planning, preparing and delivering training sessions for users on the campus.
  • Providing technical support for research, teaching, UPF productions and institutional events, according to the guidelines of the Resources Management, Corporate Applications and Infrastructure and Safety units.
  • Any other tasks assigned to it.
