Functions

The Language Support Unit is entrusted:

• To define the language model and the language criteria for general use at the University.
• To advise the university community on language and terminology matters.
• To edit documents in Catalan related to the institutional, administrative and teaching matters commissioned to it, and correct other types of documents or documents written in other languages and all translations in the aforementioned areas.
• To support the Pompeu Fabra Chair.
• To manage, coordinate and promote the Language Volunteering programme.
• Any others that may be entrusted to it.
