Functions
(In accordance with the rectoral resolution of 4 June 2018 for the administrative restructuring of the IT Service, which came into effect on 1 July):
The functions of the Development and Operations Unit are:
- To develop, organise and manage IT applications, oversee their programming, implementation and maintenance.
- To monitor their integration with all other applications and their tehcnological development.
- To make effectve use of stored information, ensuring its high quality and facilitating its use in decision-making.
- To advise and train users and campus IT units and give them support.
- To carry out with any other duties it is tasked with.
