Functions

The role of the Undergraduate Section is to:

• Coordinate the processes that affect the academic life of undergraduate students.
• Plan and coordinate the phases of access, admission and enrolment by undergraduate students together with management and administration units.
• Plan and coordinate the processes related to the management of the academic record of undergraduate students.
• Advise the management and administration units and provide them with the information and training resources required to manage these processes.
• Advise and coordinate the academic processes of affiliated higher education institutions under the terms set out in the affiliation agreement.
• Supervise and propose improvements in the computer applications that facilitate its functions, and be functionally responsible for them, in coordination with the Information Systems and Data Unit.
• Support the development of academic regulations governing undergraduate courses.
• Coordinate the technical processes for introducing, modifying and terminating bachelor’s degree and equivalent syllabuses.
• Coordinate and execute the roles related to the operation of the Open Degree.
• All others that are entrusted to it by the Teaching Area.
