Functions

The Human Resources and Organizational Development Area, directed by a deputy general manager, directs, coordinates, promotes and assesses programmes for the management of people and occupational health, process of administrative modernization as well as collective bargaining and labour relations. It directs and coordinates the PTGAS Service, the PDI Service, the Organization and Development Service, the Payroll, Budget and Information Systems Service and the Office for the Prevention of Occupational Hazards. 

Curricula

Born in Girona in 1968, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and has studied the doctoral course at the University of Girona.

In 1991 she began her professional career as an administrative assistant at the Estudi General de Girona, later the University of Girona (1992). She then joined the university as a management scale B civil servant and subsequently as a group A1 senior technician as a lawyer and as head of the Legal Advisory Service until 2007.

In October 2007 she was appointed regional director of the Government of Catalonia’s Employment Service, in Girona, and as of 2011 worked as a lawyer for the Catalan Ministry of Labour’s Business and Employment Service.

In January 2018 she returned to the University of Girona as head of the Human Resources Service. She held this position until November 2019 when she was promoted internally to head of the Management Technical Office. From February 2019 until 31 December 2025, she assumed the role of deputy general manager for People.

She has participated in seminars and congresses dealing with the judicial and legal management of universities, where she has presented on employment policies; she has also written training materials for law studies.

She was appointed for the post by the rector on 12 January 2026.
