What is a minor?

A minor is additional training for students at Pompeu Fabra University, structured and developed around the acquisition of specific competencies from a knowledge area other than that which comprises the core of each student's studies.

The minors at UPF count for between 12 and 30 credits and can be subject-based, cross-disciplinary or for specific collectives or programmes.

The offer of minors is approved annually.

You can enroll your minor in the month of July, during the established enrollment period or, if you decide during the course, you can enroll or modify the enrollment during the periods established for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimestrer (September-November- March).
