ICT is entering a new phase where questions are shifting from the technology as such to its embedding in society,as several issues related to its use have the potential to affect cultural, ethical and social values. The faculty at DTIC actively engages with society via a variety of ongoing activities with the general public, the industry, professionals, schools, museums or art centers, in order to promote a scientific literate society, an interest in scientific and technical vocations, and a quick transmission to the public of latest advances in the ICT field.
Take a look below to a sample of programs and activities we are regularly running targeting different publics. Do not hesitate to get in contact with us for further details, or to cooperate with us in making ICT research widely accessible. High School students interested in our undergraduate programs may want to come to the different Information Sessions and Awardsorganised by our Polytechnic School.
