"How much will my living cost be"

We have put together estimates of costs for somebody living in Barcelona.  We hope that the following information will help you to understand how much you will need to budget for in 2013-2014 academic year.

1. Accommodation

Depends if you live in a student residence or you rent a private flat or room.

Private accommodation costs vary depending on the number of people you share with and the quality and location of the accommodation. 

•  The first month you may advance a deposit.
•  Ask if the water, gas, electricity are included in your rent! That will depend on the arrangement with your flatmates!
•  Internet cost can around 40€/month

2. Food

The average expenses for food can round 200€ per month.  Find below a list of examples of some prices. Self-catering can also minimize food costs.
