PORTALTERM is the website that concentrates the results of the development and transfer actions of the IULATERM group (Lexicon and Technology) in the field of terminology.

This project was conceived by M. Teresa Cabré, and initially was designed by Jordi Vivaldi, Iria da Cunha and Amor Montané, but due to lack of funding we have had to wait a long time to have it ready. Finally, with the help of Laura López Oros and Jorge M. Porras-Garzón, we have been able to publish a first version of the site, which we will be enriching with new resources.

In PORTALTERM you will find access to the following resources:

• The new terminology databank UPFTERM 2.0, which will integrate the terminology records of all the vocabularies developed at UPF since 2012 with the Terminus 2.0 system.
• The old UPFTERM 1.0. terminology databank, which includes terminology from previous periods.
• The specialized multilingual dictionaries developed collaboratively between students of the subject Terminology Management and the IULATERM group, since 2012.
• Other digital dictionaries previously published by IULA.
• Terminology management and extraction tools developed at IULA: TERMINUS 2.0; ESTEN; and YATE.
• The terminology and neology networks and associations in which we participate.
• Other similar websites.
