On 4 November 2020, the rector delegated the powers to enter into educational cooperation agreements for external internships by students to the deans or directors of the centre and department, respectively.

Now, given that on some occasions it is necessary that prior to entering into an educational cooperation agreement an agreement or framework agreement be signed, it is considered appropriate to amend this resolution and delegate the powers to enter into said framework agreements to the vice-rector for matters of academic planning.

In view of Law 26/2010, of 3 August, on the legal system and procedure for the public administrations in Catalonia and Law 40/2015, of 1 October on the legal system of the public sector;

By the powers granted in me by Article 55.2 of the Statutes of Pompeu Fabra University,

I HAVE HEREBY DECIDED:

To amend the resolution by the rector of 4 November, delegating powers to centre and department deans or directors to enter into educational cooperation agreements for external internships by students in the following terms:

One. 

A new Article Three is added, which reads:

“Three. Delegate to the vice-rector responsible for academic planning the signing of framework agreements that must be signed prior to entering into educational cooperation agreements for external internships by UPF students.”

Two.

Article Three becomes the new Article Four, and reads as follows:

“Four. The agreements or framework agreements, as well as the educational cooperation agreements that are entered into by virtue of this delegation will be deemed as being signed by the rector. The agreements entered into shall bear in the signature the words “by delegation” abbreviated to “P.D.”, followed by the rank and the date of the decision and the name and surname of the signatory”.
