Before enrolling in an ICT degree, you will receive an email from the School of Engineering regarding the enrollment process, which will include a form where you will have to choose whether you will study the first year in Catalan or English. It is mandatory to respond to this form; this way when you enroll you will be automatically assigned to the chosen group.
Biomedical Engineering students do not need to choose a group.
English Group
If you want to be enrolled in the class group where the teaching language is English, you will enroll in Group 1 (group code 11). If you have responded to the form, this will be preselected for you.
No mandatory requirements are requested, and there will be no elimination level test. However, it is recommended to have a level equivalent to a B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for the languages (approximately equivalent to the First Certificate in English).
Catalan and Spanish Group
If you want to be enrolled in the class group where the teaching language is Catalan/Spanish, you will enroll in Groups 2 or 3 (group codes 12 or 13). If you have responded to the form, this will be preselected for you.
