Other courses of interest for UPF Teaching and Research Staff

Apart from the free courses exclusively for the Teaching and Research staff of the UPF, Idiomes UPF also offers other Catalan and Spanish courses with a reduced fee for members of the UPF, thanks to the UPF subsidy, which aim to encourage members of its community to learn and certify different levels of these two languages.

Catalan courses

Thanks to the Catalan courses you can learn and certify any level from the level A1 CEFR to the level C2 CEFR from only €60 (reduced fee for UPF members). You can choose the course that suits you best:

  • Quarterly Catalan courses: face-to-face courses (or online courses via videoconference with some face-to-face sessions starting at level B2) open to everyone (UPF members and the general pubic). Levels A1, A2, B1 and B2 are offered. The fee for each course is €60 for UPF members. [more information]
  • PARLA.CAT Catalan courses: 100% online courses exclusively for UPF members. Levels B2.1, B2.2 and C1.1 are offered. The fee for each course is €60. [more information]
  • Preparation course to obtain “suficiència” C1 level certificate: Online courses via videoconference and also face-to-face courses open to everyone (UPF members and the general public). This course aims to prepare participants for the official C1 level CIFALC exam. This course will be free for the UPF Teaching and Research Staff in order for them to certify level C1 in Catalan language. [more information]
  • Proficiency level C2 Catalan language course: Online courses via videoconference and also face-to-face courses open to everyone (UPF members and the general public). This course aims to prepare participants for the official C2 level exam CIFALC. The fee for this course is €395, but UPF offers a discount of €100 for the first 12 UPF Teaching and Research staff members that complete the enrolment for any of the editions during the academic year 2023-2024. Spanish courses

Our Spanish courses allow you to learn and certify any level from CEFR level A1 to C2 from only €60 (reduced fee for UPF members). You can choose the course that suits you best:

  • Quarterly Spanish courses: face-to-face courses open to everyone (UPF members and the general public). Levels A1, A2 and B1 are offered. The fee for each course is €90 for UPF members. [more information]
