Free-elective cross-disciplinary training

• Identity document

Enter your national identity document, alien identification document or passport number without spaces, hyphens or full stops, including the final letter (if you have entered the letter and get an incorrect login message, enter the number without the letter).

• Password

If you can’t remember the password, click on Forgot your password? You will receive an email (to your UPF student address) to reset it.

Now click on Enter to move to the next screen. Then go to the section Enrolment and click on Change your enrolment (bachelor’s degree).

You cannot change any personal details while you are changing your enrolment. When you have finished changing your enrolment, send a request to change your details via the e-services portal.

This screen may have up to three tabs at the bottom:

• Pending (subjects not passed)
• Subjects on the curriculum 
• Subjects outside the curriculum (to enrol in free-elective cross-disciplinary subjects).

According to the academic regulations, you must enrol in all the basic and compulsory subjects that you have failed before any new subjects.

— Subjects in your curriculum

To enrol in the subjects, click on the icon +. If the subject has only one group, it will be automatically added to My selection. If it has more than one, a new window will open to select the group you want to enrol in. This process must be repeated for all the subjects you have to enrol in.
 

- Free-elective cross-disciplinary subjects

To enrol in these, click on the Add icon at the bottom of the screen and a new window will open to enter the code of the subject. (The codes are listed on the Cross-disciplinary subjects website).

If the subject has more than one group, you must first choose the group, click on Characteristics and choose the appropriate option as follows:

• Free-elective cross-disciplinary subject: select the code OP001.
• Fourth-term subject: select code OP059.
• Barcelona International Summer School (BISS) subject: select code OP259.

Changing subjects

— Changing a failed subject for a new one

Please bear in mind that if you make this change, the new subject will bring with it the past instances of the subject you are giving up, and the penalization for a failed subject will be applied to your record.

To make this change, you must first enrol in the new subject and then click on Change. A new window will then open: select the tab Change subject and the subject you wish to give up. If there is more than one subject, you must choose the one for which you want to make the change. Then click on Accept. In My selection you can see the change you have made.

Changing group

To change group, select the proper icon. Then a new window will open with information on the groups with available places. Select the appropriate group and click on Accept.

The group will be recorded once you have confirmed your enrolment.

Neither the form of payment nor the bank details can be changed while you are changing your enrolment. If necessary, when you have confirmed your change of enrolment, send a request to change your details via the e-services portal, accompanied by any supporting documents.

The fee for Changing enrolment will be selected automatically. You only need to pay the fee for changing enrolment once, even if you access it again. However, if you request a change in enrolment in any other way, you will have to pay the fee for changing enrolment for each request.

This is an information screen. When you have checked the details, if you want to accept your enrolment, click on CONFIRM to save your change. Otherwise, click on Back to return to the previous screen.

PLEASE NOTE: If you access the option of changing your enrolment and click on CONFIRM, you will be charged the fee for changing enrolment even if you make no changes. If you do not want to save the change, click Disconnect or select any option in the left frame. During the period when changing enrolment is open, you can access it as many times as you want.
