Summer English courses
Idiomes UPF offers you the chance to take a whole CEFR level in only 3 weeks in July with face to face classes in the Campus Poblenou or, if you prefer, you can choose the virtual format.
The English teaching staff at Idiomes UPF has been developing innovative materials and strategies to guarantee a rigorous and dynamic learning process.

Course details
- Duration: 60 hours of face-to-face class or via videoconference (combined with 40 hours of online work for a total of 100 hours).
- Type of course: 60 hours of face-to-face class or live via videoconference (you can choose the modality that best suits your needs).
- Calendar: From June 29 to July 17, 2026.
- Place: Campus Poblenou or choose the virtual format.
- Attendance: To pass the course, it is necessary to attend or connect to a minimum of 80% of the classes (it is allowed not to attend or connect to a maximum of 12 hours of class).
- Registration period: From January 19 until June 29, 2026.
- Students per group: Minimum 11 - Maximum 20.
- ECTS credits: Up to 6 ECTS RAC credits (with a passing grade) and 6 credits for the new Minor in Multilingualism.
- UPF certificate: If you pass the course, approximately two weeks after the end of the course you will receive a UPF certificate indicating the CEFR level achieved by email.
- Entry requirements: These courses are open to the UPF Community and the general public above the age of 14. In order to confirm your enrolment for a level previous to the one you have registered for, you will have to demonstrate your level by:
- If you have already studied at Idiomes UPF the previous level you have registered for, your enrolment will be confirmed.
- If you hold a certificate, please email us a copy at [email protected]. Please see here the valid certificates.
- If you have not taken a course at Idiomes UPF nor hold a certificate, you will have to take a free level test.

Standard fee: €495
Fee with discount: €470.25 (5% discount applied for early enrolment before June 1)
- 5% discount for large families, single parents or pupils with a minimum degree of disability of 33% (refundable amount once paid and the discount is justified with the accreditation document. Receipt of requests until 6 July).
- The fee includes the teaching, all materials used in class and the UPF certificate.
- Idiomes UPF reserves the right to cancel any course if the minimum required (15) is not reached. In this case, the fee for the course would be refunded.
PARLA3 grants: €350 for undergraduate students / €600 for undergraduate students with general grant

How can I enrol on the course?
To enrol on the course, you must select the code [1638 - Summer Courses] add to your registration the course you want to take and make the payment online by card following the instructions below:
If you are a grant holder, and you want to enrol on this course, remember to apply the Ajut Parla3 - curs intensiu - Descompte 100% discount. Once you have finished the enrolment, and you have saved the receipt, you will need to send the grant-holder resolution to [email protected] so that the enrolment can be validated (more information on the PARLA3 grants for grant holders).
