The Final Degree Project (TFG) aims to prepare a project to evaluate the use of the skills necessary to obtain the degree. It is an independent activity carried out within a course, leading to the preparation of a paper based on a topic approved by the course's teaching staff.

The course can be taken in one of two modalities: general or specific. The general modality consists in the completion of the work in teams of four students under the tutoring of the teaching staff in charge of the course. The specific modality consists in carrying out the work individually, or in a team of up to four students, under the guidance of a tutor other than the teaching staff of the course. The specific modality also allows you to prepare the TFG under the direction of tutors external to the UPF, for example for external practices or international exchanges, as long as it has the approval of the professor in charge of the course.
