Google Forms - Personal data processing

Google Forms add-on to include the legal information note on the processing of personal data in UPF forms.

Many people use Google to create data collection forms for research, teaching or University management.

When these forms collect personal data (data that directly identifies or that can indirectly identify people) the legislation requires that a legal note be included in the form that explains how this data will be processed. Additionally, in certain cases the addition of specific consent clauses may be required.

This Google Forms add-on was created to facilitate the automatic incorporation of the information note and, where applicable, the consent boxes, based on basic information provided by the user.

 

This AddOn works on Google forms administered by '@upf.edu' accounts only !!!

Follow these steps to install the add-on in your '@upf.edu' account:

  • Open the link to the add-on.
    • It only works if you have previously logged in to Google, for example by opening Gmail in a different tab in the same browser.

  • Choose the account that will run the add-on.
    • To allow its correct operation, the add-on must be run by the same user who installs it.
    • The user must give the add-on the necessary permissions to be able to run..

  • Congratulations!!!  The add-on was installed correctly. Close the window to start using it.
