3. Apply for the UPF Minor in Plurilingualism!

Before you graduate, you can easily apply for the UPF Minor in Plurilingualism, through which UPF aims to boost the knowledge of two or more foreign languages and acknowledge the effort and dedication to language learning that students have shown at the university during their studies at UPF, beyond what is included in their main undergraduate programs.

4. Obtain the UPF Passaport

As you may know, according to the Decret Llei 22/2021 of 5 October, undergrand students that started their studies during the academic year 2018-2019 and any year after that are no longer required to certify a B2 level (CEFR) of English, German, French or Italian in order to graduate.

However, UPF believes that foreign language learning is crucial for our students. Therefore, UPF wants to boost foreign language learning and also to acknowledge the efforts made by students who have learned foreign languages and have obtained accreditations of at least a B2 level in one of them. In such cases, UPF will grant a UPF Passport of linguistic accreditation and training, as a complement to their undergraduate degree, to every student that graduates in the 2021-2022 academic year, or any year after that, who fulfill the necessary requirements.
