RULES OF THE CALL

The DTIC - Ingenierías UPF research award for women researchers in the fields of information and communication technologies (ICT) is an initiative of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies (DTIC) / School of Engineering of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in the framework of the commemoration of its creation 25 years ago, and whose objective is to recognize and support the work of women scientists working in Spain in the research areas of the department.

The award is in addition to the department's activities to promote equality and inclusion in ICT research, which include various actions aimed at awakening interest and quality teaching in technological studies during compulsory education, or the Dorcas Muthoni PhD scholarship program, aimed at African women.

The DTIC - Ingenierías UPF research award for female researchers in the field of information and communication technologies will award a prize of 3,000 EUR gross to the winning researcher. The prize will be subject to the tax provisions in force at the time of payment.
