UPF approves a Minor in Plurilingualism

This new minor will allow students to specialize in multiculturalism and plurilingualism by including more than 20 language and culture courses from the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, Idiomes UPF and the UPF Plurilingual Campus.

UPF approved on July 12, 2018, the Minor in Plurillingualism, a specialized itinerary that recognizes the effort and dedication of students in foreign language training. Undergraduates or master's students who wish to enroll on this minor will be able to choose between the following courses, with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 ECTS credits:

A new course called Roaming! Languages for mobility, will be offered for the first time to students who go on Erasmus. This course helps students become aware of the importance of the values of interculturality and multilingualism.

The Minor in Plurilingualism also offers the opportunity to give 6 extra credits to all those students who certified a level B2 or higher of a foreign language between the 2014-2015 and 2017-2018, following article 211 of Law 2/2014 of the Parliament of Catalonia.
