Every year, the CLIK lays on the Initial Training in University Teaching (FIDU) programme. Its goal is to provide basic training in university teaching to new UPF teachers to provide them with the essential tools for teaching.

There are two itineraries: introduction and consolidation. Choose the itinerary that best suits you according to your availability. You do not need to have taken the introductory FIDU to take the consolidation programme.

The goal of organizing these initial training programmes is to provide teachers with the necessary teacher training as set out in the Margalida Comas programme of the Government of Catalonia and the Organic Law of the University System (LOSU), approved in March 2023, which specifies that “...To develop of their teaching ability, Doctoral Assistant Lecturers (Teaching assistants) must, during the first year of their contract, attend an initial teacher training course”.
