The TRANSGANG project was presented at the KISMIF 2018 Conference 'Keep It Simple, Make It Fast! Gender, differences, identities and DIY cultures' (Porto, July 2018). It is a biannual meeting in its fourth edition. It has brought together two hundred international researchers about underground cultures in the Portuguese city of Porto. The PI of TRANGANG, Carles Feixa, is a founding member of the project and has been present in all the editions, forming part of the scientific committee. On this occasion he gave a keynote conference entitled "Gendered flows. From urban tribes to transnational gangs", which started with the evolution of youth cultures in Spain and ended with the presentation of the on-going project, which received positive feedbacks, including feedback from researchers from Medellin, Cuba, Spain and Morocco. Ligia Lavielle, member of the Cuban team of TRANSGANG, also participated in the event.
