The Genomics Core Facility presents a free online course in forensic genetics in Spanish. The course includes five videos and self-assessment questions on:

1. DNA extraction (video / evaluation test)
2. Technologies in forensic genetics (video / evaluation test)
3. New sequencing technologies (video / evaluation test)
4. Population genetics (video / evaluation test)
5. Forensic Genetics (video / evaluation test)

The videos have been produced by the Genomics Core Facility and the Factoria de Producció Digital (CRAI-UPF). This project has been made possible thanks to the participation in a joint project with Red de Solidaridad para la Transformación Social (REDS), the Asociación Pro-Búsqueda de niños y niñas desparecidos and the Universidad de El Salvador. The project has been funded by the Agència Catalana de Cooperació al Desenvolupament (Generalitat de Catalunya) and has been supported by the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (CSIC_UPF) and the Experimental and Health Sciences Department (UPF)-Unidad de Excelencia Ramiro de Maeztu y Agencia Estatal de Investigación.
