The Master's degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics has been positively assessed by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQUCatalunya) in the accreditation of the degree's internationalization as an additional quality dimension .

A committee of internationalization experts appointed by AQU Catalunya visited the Translation and Language Sciences Unit last February to assess the degree of internationalization of the M.A. and to prepare a written report of the visit. This report has been the basis of the positive verdict recently issued by AQU Catalunya.

The recognition of the internationalization dimension of the M.A. adds to the accreditation with excellence that AQU Catalunya awarded the Master's degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics earlier in 2016 in the context of the periodical accreditation process which all official university degrees in Catalonia must undergo.
