You may seek recognition of credits you have obtained through previous master's degree (or equivalent) studies carried out at UPF or another university. To do so, you can submit the documentation at any at any Student Information Desk (PIE) of the UPF's libraries from 1 July to 30 November. The documentation to be submitted is as follows: 

  1. A duly completed application form
  2. Bank-issued proof of payment of the credit recognition application fee

  3. Academic certificate showing the subjects studied, the corresponding number of credits and the grades awarded
  4. The photocopy (stamped by the issuing university) of the curriculum studied. 
  5. The photocopy (stamped by the issuing university) of the programme of each subject studied. 

*If you have completed your original studies at the UPF, you do not need to present documents 3, 4 and 5. 


Bear in mind that:

  • If you apply for recognition before enroling, you may receive an 80% discount on credit fees. 
  • If you apply for recognition after enroling, you will have to pay credit fees in full.
