Most of the Master's courses are taught in English, with the exception of specific courses associated with the Language Learning and Teaching and the Lexicon specializations, which are mainly taught in Spanish. As Barcelona is a bilingual city, where both Catalan, the city's and Catalonia's autoctonous language, and Spanish, are spoken, we strongly encourage you to develop a basic passive knowledge of Catalan.

If you don't have previous knowledge of Catalan language or culture, you can take courses in the Catalan Landing Program, described here.
