UPF, international strategic partner of Brown University

A recent agreement allows students from the prestigious American university to study one or two semesters at the UPF, in the framework of Brown Plus One program.

Christina Paxson and Josep Joan Moreso sign the agreement Under a cooperation agreement signed last week, Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) has become associated with international mobility program Brown Plus One, of renowned Brown University (Providence, Rhode Island, USA), member of the prestigious Ivy League.

The partnership agreement was signed by Josep Joan Moreso, rector of the UPF, and Christina Paxson, president of Brown University, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor of International Relations at the UPF, Josep Ferrer, and the Director of the Office of International Programs at Brown, Kendall Brostuen, in a ceremony held at the Rectorate of the American university on 13th. March.

This program encourages the mobility of Brown University students interested in international study. Under the Brown Plus One program, Brown students spend one or two semesters of study at one of the partnering institutions abroad while completing their baccalaureate degree at Brown. They then return to the partner institution for an additional year of study abroad, earning a Master of Arts degree there.

The agreement is particularly relevant since the UPF becomes the fourth international partner of the initiative Brown Plus One, as well as Trinity College Dublin, the University of Edinburgh and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
