The School of Engineering at UPF hosts the local BCN Challenge for the World Robotic Olympiad 2022
On June 18th, 2022, the School of Engineering (https://www.upf.edu/web/graus/enginyeries) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra hosted the local BCN (Barcelona) Challenge for the World Robotic Olympiad (wro-association.org) with the participation of 12 teams in 3 different categories.
The winners for the RoboMission – Elementary (8 to 12 years old) was the team “ESTANYS 3”, while for the RoboMission – Junior (11 to 15 years old), the winner was the team “LEGENDS”. We also mention that for the RoboMission-Rookie the winning team was "EL CLAVITO QUE CLAVÓ PABLITO".
These teams progress to the national competition. It is important to stress that teams seek to improve upon themselves. The challenge offers 4 rounds, and every team was able to improve upon their score in an earlier round. The challenge offers an opportunity for camaraderie and exchange of ideas.
