Requests to change seminars may be made for the reasons specified below. In any case, changes will be accepted as long as there are places available in the requested courses

REQUESTS:

Requests for change of seminars will only be accepted in theses cases:
  • When 2 students wish to switch groups ⇒ it's essential that both students complete the request form
  • Students who have duly justified medical reasons (IMPORTANT: the certificate must be updated)
  • Student belonging to the UPF high-level athletes program
  • Students carrying out internships in a company with a UPF agreement (managed by Carreres UPF)
  • Employment contracts (official contract where working hours are specified and the required signatures must appear)
  • Overlapping with repeated courses
  • Exchange / EAP student at UPF
Important: To request a change of seminar, you must first have been assigned to one. If you have not yet been assigned to a seminar, please contact Secretaria, via CAU.
  • Request form (enabled when requests are accepted). IMPORTANT: Incomplete or incorrect documentation will not be claimed.​​​
  • Students requesting more than one change will have to complete one form per request.  
  • Each request will be studied separately.
  • In continuous courses students must stay in the same group for both terms. Therefore, seminar changes may only be requested for such subjects using the form for the first term.

 

Students who wish to switch groups

  • It is essential that both students fill in the request form. Exchanges will be granted as long as both students have completed the form correctly.

Justified Medical reasons

  • The change must be requested using the form, always attaching the corresponding and updated medical certificate.

Students belonging to the upf high-level athletes program

  • The change must be requested using the form and the Secretaria will make the approriate check. Should the student need to request a change out of the established period, they should contact their tutor.

Students carrying out internships in a company with a UPF agreement (managed by Carreres UPF)

  • The change must be requested using the form. The Secretaria will make the approriate check.

Employment contracts (official contract where working hours are specified )

  • The change must be requested using the form attaching the pdf of the employment contract.

Overlapping with repeated courses 

  • The change must be requested using the form, stating course/group with which the overlap occurs.

Exchange / EAP student at UPF

  • The change must be requested using the form, explaining the reason why you are asking for a seminar change.
Requests submitted past the deadline will be automatically denied.
  • Requests will be assessed taking into account how full the requested seminar is and the grounds for the request.
  • The decision will be published on this page.
  • Favourable decisions may not be subsequently renounced.
