The Department of Economics and Business of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra ranks 23rd worldwide amongst Universities in the fields of Economics and Econometrics, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2015. Within Europe, it ranks 6th.

The QS rankings highlight the world’s top universities in 36 individual subjects, making it the largest ever ranking of its kind. The results for each University are based on its academic reputation, its employer reputation and its research impact.
