Marta Trapero-Bertran, Researcher at the Center for Research in Health and Economics (CRES) and Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, has obtained a grant of the European Commission funded with 206.200 Euros to implement the project "European-study on Quantifying Utility of Investment in Protection from Tobacco (EQUIPT)". She is the coordinator of the Spanish team of the project.
Marta Trapero-Bertran leads an important part of a very competitive European Project funded by the FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION-1. The EQUIPT aims to implement a tool designed by Marta Trapero-Bertran based on her doctoral thesis, which is already used by the British National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for decision-making in other European countries. All the publications resulting from this project must refer to her work.
