The Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies of the University of Pennsylvania has published the first annual ranking of the Spanish scientists more quoted in social sciences. Professors of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF Andreu Mas-Colell, Jordi Galí and Xavier Sala i Martín are ranked among the ten most influential researchers of Spain in Social Sciences since 1945. The ranking is calculated using cites of the published papers as the measure of influence.
