Rosemarie Nagel, ICREA Research Professor of the Department of Economics and Business of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, together with John Duffy (University of Pittsburgh) and Frank Heinemann (Technische Universität Berlin), organized the 1st LeeX International Conference on Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics, which took place on 11th and 12th June at the Ciutadella Campus of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Keynote speakers were Charles Noussair (Tilburg University) and Jaume Ventura (CREI UPF).

The two day conference was an effort to demonstrate that macroeconomics can also be an experimental discipline, which will imply a strong collaboration between macroeconomic theorists and experimentalists.
