Master in Teacher Training from UAM, Spain, specialized in feminist studies and intercultural education, and graduated in English Studies at UNED, Spain. Postgraduate in Juvenicidio at the Colegio de la Frontera Norte, Mexico. Currently developing her doctoral thesis on women in transnational gangs.

Former founding member of the Latin King & Queen Nation in Spain, currently developing her research work with members of this and other youth street groups in the city of Madrid, Spain, and in transnational contexts. Translator and editor, together with Carles Feixa, of the book La Banda, un studio de 1313 bandas de Chicago (2021), the first translation into Spanish of the classic The Gang (1927/36), by F. M. Thrasher
