CÍCLIKS is a program promoted by Pompeu Fabra University with public funding. Consequently, we apply a strict resource management policy that includes penalties for unjustified absences.

Attendance and Priority

Priority will be given to students who attend 100% of the sessions. To receive a certificate of attendance, students must attend at least 80% of the course.

Withdrawing from a Course

If you are unable to attend, you must notify us to free up your spot for another doctoral student.

  • How to notify: Send an email to [email protected].
  • Deadline: At least 72 hours before the course starts to avoid penalties.

Non-attendance and Penalties

  • Total absence (without prior notice or justification): The student will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list for all training activities throughout the remainder of their doctoral studies.
  • Attending less than 50% (without prior notice or justification):
    • 1st Term courses: Penalty applies for the current academic year.
    • 2nd or 3rd Term courses: Penalty will extend to the following academic year.
  • Online Courses: Non-attendance is defined as failing to access the virtual platform (UPF Aula Global) at any time without justification.
