Details about the exams

  • Name of the test: Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE).
  • Description: The DELE exam consists of a written and oral part, being different the different tasks to be performed depending on the level. Read about exam structure and preparation.
  • Objective: To obtain an official diploma in Spanish with permanent validity / Obtaining Spanish nationality.
  • Registration and payment: Registration and payment through the website of the Instituto Cervantes. Payment must be made by credit or debit card.
  • Fee: A2: 134 euros / B1: 170 euros / B2: 201 euros / C1: 219 euros / C2: 234 euros
  • Qualifications: They will publish in your private space of the web page of the Instituto Cervantes in an approximate term of 3 months from the realization of the proofs. You will be able to download your official certificate of qualifications, in which it will appear if you have been FIT or NOT FIT in the exam.
  • Revisions: You can request the revision of qualifications up to one month after the publication of the qualifications in your private space on the Cervantes Institute portal.
  • Certificate: Available approximately 6 months after the exam. You can pick it up at the UPF Language Secretariat after receiving an email.

How do I know where to go for the exam?

7 days before the test date, you will receive an email from [email protected] with the official exam call. In this message we will inform you of the time of the exam and the classroom where the tests will take place. Remember that the oral exam may be a different day than the written test. We will also inform you of the documentation you will need to bring. Remember to have a valid original passport.
