What does the Ajut Parla3 for language accreditation tests consist of?

If you are an undergraduate student at a Catalan public university and certify your level of English, French, German or Italian through our PCCL tests, you may recover the €75 examination fee through the Ajuts Parla3.

To be eligible to apply, you must have obtained a certificate for the PCCL. Once you receive the certificate, you must submit your Parla3 grant application within the deadlines set out in the call for applications for the same academic year, which is usually open between May and September.

Important: The Idiomes UPF Office will contact you to inform you when the call for applications for your course opens.

To benefit from the Ajuts Parla3 for language accreditation tests, the following requirements must be met:

  • Be enrolled on undergraduate studies at a Catalan university during the 2025–2026 academic year.
  • Have taken the accreditation test during the 2025-2026 academic year and obtained a certificate of achievement.
  • If you have been awarded a Parla3 grant under the call for applications for Department of Education scholarship holders or the Equitat scholarship during the 2025-2026 academic year, you are not eligible for the Parla3 grant for language accreditation tests for the same level and language.
  • Only applicants who have taken the accreditation test without having previously attended a language course are eligible to apply.

Undergraduate students must apply to AGAUR for the Parla3 grant for language accreditation tests within the deadlines set out in the call for applications, and only once they have successfully obtained a certificate of achievement for the test.

To do so, the following documentation must be submitted:

  • Proof of enrollment on undergraduate studies for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • Certificate of the language accreditation test achieved, issued by the relevant centre and taken during the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • Bank receipt of payment for the accreditation test taken.
