ES indicador de logro / CAT indicador d’assoliment / FR indicateur de réalisation / DE Leistungindikator

Indicators of achievement are the observable facts or indexes through which the nature or constitutive property of a criterion for assessment manifests (Turco 1989). Their use makes it possible to perform a valid, reliable assessment successfully, and they are diverse in nature.

In order to develop plurilingual discourse competence, these specific manifestations of the criteria for assessment are, on the one hand, varied in nature since every specific discourse genre is defined by particular rhetorical, pragmatic and linguistic structures; and, on the other hand, they are also very varied in the sense that there is not a single manifestation of a criterion for assessment, but rather an extensive repertoire of options among which the learner will choose, thus exerting agency. Indeed, working with discourse genre colonies allows similarities and differences to be established between indicators of achievement belonging to different text typologies but sharing the same purposes.
