During the years of the Communication Doctoral Programme, a series of compulsory academic activities (AF1, AF2, AF3 and AF4) and voluntary activities (AF5) must be carried out.

The academic activities are evaluated annually. The Doctoral Academic Committee (CAD) will assess all the documents presented in the online module for monitoring doctoral theses, as well as the assessment reports of the thesis tutor or supervisor.

A positive evaluation is an indispensable requirement to be able to continue in the doctoral programme. In the event of a duly motivated negative evaluation, the assessment will be carried out again within six months of the previous evaluation and a new research plan must be submitted. In the case of a second negative evaluation, CAD will interview the student and prepare a detailed report, and the student will be permanently discharged from the programme.
