Individual grants for the recruitment and integration of PhD holders into the Catalan science and technology system. These grants aim to facilitate both the return and the incorporation of researchers who have been working abroad.

Requirements

a) PhD degree obtained between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2023 (extensions may apply in certain cases; please consult the call for details).
b) A minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience outside the Spanish State at the time of joining the host institution. This postdoctoral experience, regardless of the type of contract or affiliation, may have been carried out at different institutions, provided that the total postdoctoral period abroad is at least two years.
c) Not having resided or worked in the Spanish State for more than 12 months during the three years prior to the application deadline.

Each candidate may submit only one application, and each researcher may host only one candidate. However, at the time of submission, collaboration with different researchers and participation in different projects may be described. The same research group may submit more than one candidate, provided that different principal investigators are involved and that feasibility is ensured. Each application will be evaluated independently.
