The aim of the awards is to promote the use of Catalan as an academic and research language and to stimulate this use.
Up to a maximum of 8 awards of 500 euros each will be given to the best Master's theses written in Catalan at the UPF. 


Participation requirements:

  • To have defended the master's final project in any of the university master's degree courses offered by UPF's own centers during the 2024-25 academic year.
  • Having obtained the qualification of excellent.
  • It must be written in Catalan.
  • The project may include quotations, references, data and appendices written in other languages. It may also include sections or materials translated into other languages, as well as visual or audiovisual materials (photographs, illustrations or videos) that include other languages in written, oral or visual form.

🕓 The deadline for submitting applications is 15 october 2026. 

Submit the application form and the documentation through the UPF Electronic Office by means of a general instance.

You must provide the followig information in the general instance:

  • In the section DEMANO (write it in Catalan and with lowercase letters, as shown): Sol·licitud al Premis als Millors Treballs de Fi de Màster Escrits en Català a la Universitat Pompeu Fabra 2026
  • In the section Òrgan o servei a qui adreceu la sol·licitud (write it in catalan and with capital letters, as shown): SERVEI DE POSTGRAU I DOCTORAT
