Book Review of "Migrations in the Mediterranean" co-edited by R. Zapata.Barrero

Prof. Sarah Wolff (Leiden University) has just published a Book Review of Migrations in the Mediterranean, co-edited by Ricard Zapata-Barrero (GRITIM-UPF) and Ibrahim Awad (American University in Cairo) in the journal Ethnic and Racial Studies.
The review highlights the book’s rich multi-scale approaches, its great contribution to an enhanced Mediterranean perspective in migration research, and its efforts to decouple migration from crisis or emergency narratives in what she calls the “quasi-activist duty to inform the debate”.
