22.04.2024

Sarah Wolff, Professor in International Studies and Global Politics at Leiden University, has just published a Book Review of Migrations in the Mediterraean, co-edited by Ricard Zapata-Barrero (GRITIM-UPF) and Ibrahim Awad (American University in Cairo) in the journal Ethnic and Racial Studies. In her review, Wolff highlights the book’s rich multi-scale approaches, its great contribution to an enhanced Mediterranean perspective in migration research, and its efforts with decoupling migration from crisis or emergency narratives in what she calls “quasi-activist duty to inform the debate”.
